Leadership Rooted in Service

My mission is to provide experienced, professional leadership for the Clerk of Court's Office through integrity, efficiency, fiscal responsibility, and a commitment to serving our county with respect. My experience and knowledge of the office over the past decade as well as working collaboratively with other offices in the county has prepared me to be successful in this endeavor. 

I can honestly say I have never had a job I didn't like. Throughout my career, I have been known for my work ethic, ability to learn quickly and my commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Being a people person has enabled me to form great working relationships within the county as well as with the members of the public who rely on our court services, and Attorneys both locally and across the State.

People ask me why this is an elected position and not a hired position based on the standard application and interview process.  My response to that is that as Clerk of Court and a County employee, I have a duty to represent our County. Employees whose salary, wages, and benefits are paid by the tax payers (me included), are accountable to the citizens we serve. My “interview” is in my daily interactions with the people who engage in our court system whether as a consumer of services such as small claims, civil, and family cases, or as a defendant in a criminal matter, or an Attorney representing a party in a case. Your confidence in me through the election process and voting me to be the next Clerk of Court is the highest honor I can receive.
